The forces which fight about your heart

To begin this so called blog I will have to cite some articles which describes the crazyness in this our world of religion and science. When you read it, try to imagine what these people carry in their hearts.

A polygamist sect has been accused of only allowing elected “seed bearers” to have sex with women, according to a child custody petition filed by estranged wife of the group's day-to-day leader.
    The custody petition, obtained by The Salt Lake Tribune, describes a group of followers called “seed bearers” in the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a breakaway Mormon sect.
    In the document, "seed bearers" are defined as “elect” men of a “worthy blood line chosen by the Priesthood to impregnate” women.
    According to Charlene Jeffs, the estranged wife of Lyle Jeffs who now oversees the sect, a new doctrine means “FLDS men are no longer permitted to have children with their multiple wives".
    "That privilege belongs to the seed bearer alone," the document says.
    “It is the husband’s responsibility to hold the hands of their wives while the seed bearer 'spreads his seed’.
    “In layman terms, the husband is required to sit in the room while the chosen seed bearer, or a couple of them, rape his wife or wives. (Polygamist sect 'demands husbands watch while seed bearers impregnate their wives'

Now, ask yourself: What is true spirituality?  What is good religion? I bear witness that all true and good religions come from the same Spiritual Source (God), says the Bahá'í believers, but which religions are true and good?

Anyway, be aware about what lives in your heart. It should be a home for God, not for a stranger.

I will in forthcoming weblogs try to give you some examples, from the big world and my own small world, about what can domicile in your heart instead of goodness. To make it easy I will call these heart occupants BABYLON and ROME. Not of course the today Italian capital Rome and the ruins of ancient Babylon in todays Iraq. But spiritually Babylon emblemizes an evil force which want to destroy good, wholesome religion with something which best can be described as anti-religion. But it's not atheism, it's something groups like Jehovas' Witness thinks comes from Satan himself, through demons and spiritism. Rastafarians see Babylon as an evil system which hold them in captivity until Jah sets them free. Other groups think Babylon leads to the final annihilation of your soul. It has been said that The Great Babylon is every city and no city. It is civilized man, mankind organized apart from God. It has its embodiment in every age.

Rome stood for brilliant technology and solutions but also for reckless warfare and crushing of other peoples religions and traditions, a brutal slave economy with extreme punishments for escapers. Rome had amaffia-like social system, and the political system can be described as a society with usage of violent gangs of the urban poor and/or unemployed mass, controlled by rival Senators or patrons (rich befrienders), which intimidated the electorate through violence. To keep the poor mass enough satisfied,  the rich provided the most extreme live warnography in human history. What today would make a strong man in the audience pass out, children and pregnant women maintained without problems in old Rome. And Romans forced other cultures to worship their emperors as Gods. Jews, and other conquered peoples, who refused to worship a human, where wiped out. The Romans caused the Jewish Diaspora. After the Bar Kochba Revolt of 132-135 CE the Romans engaged in mass executions of Jews and enslavement, and destroyed large numbers of Judaean cities and towns, forbidding Jews from settling in Jerusalem or its environs. Many Jews ended up in Europe and were treated quite to extremely bad where they were allowed to live. And then came Hitler's and Himmler's genocide.
